Tony Toca is back in the house for 2000!! This is one his rare r&b tapes that he started way back in '92. And to tell u the truth i didnt even know he did R&B tapes back then until this year! But I am glad that DJ's like him & Craig G did R&B tapes back then, cause R&B back then was pure classic! I mean u just couldnt front on it, it seemed like a new R&B artist was droppin a classic every week damn near back then. Like i said before my timeline for classic R&B was '86-'01. Thats what i go by, i was born in '82, and to me R&B was startin to pop off in the mid '80's! So i cant really get into 70's R&B, i have nothin against it but thats out of my range people. If it wasnt '86-'01 then i cant mess with it. So please enjoy Toca on the cut on this classic tape!Saturday, January 24, 2009

Double R & G-Bo The Pro- Reggae '92
Its ur favorite DJ duo back again with another dope tape from 1992. Now i know there are few reggae heads out there that had been lookin for this one! Me personally, reggae dont do it for me. I just cant get into it. I remember around '99, 2000 was the time when i seen a whole lot of people started jammin reggae at a feverish pace. I was in NJ at the time when that started to pop off and the hottest reggae record was that Mr. Vegas & DMX joint "Here goes the Boom". Everybody and the mama was jammin that song, to me its ok, but i just remember that time very vividly! Ok yall, more fire and Bombaclot!!

A Timeout For B.I.G.
i just seen the Biggie movie today, and i was purely satisfied with it. Gravy killed it!! He had BIG's voice down packed. And the lady who played Faith did a great job, heck she even sings just like her! It was just sad to see the ending, cause we all know how that ends. But i just wanna take timeout to let yall know that BIG was my man b, growing up he was just easy to relate to on all levels. He made great music and his whole style was great! He had gotten respect from the whole rap game in a short amout of time, cause when u said his name u already knew what time it was! When he passed away i was in the 10th grade and i was heartbroken but it just didnt sink in yet. But now as i look back over the years, it finally sinks in like damn... i aint never gonna see this man again. To this day i just think what the game would be like if he was still alive! But im glad i have mad footage of him on location in different spots. Pure legendary footage that i will hold close to me! But thats all i wanted to say man, BIG forever my dudes!

Video of the Day Pt.2: GP WU- Black On Black Crime
This right here was one of the most hardest tracks of 1997. Please dont get mad at me though cause i didnt hear this track until a year or 2 ago on a old mixtape. But man i was hooked when i 1st heard this though. Just listen to this man lyrics and what he speakin. Matter of fact, the shit he talkin on here can used as subject to talk about in a college class or somethin like that. Its that deep people, this real shit he talkin. Like i said if u was livin in NY then u can relate to what he was sayin. Otherwise black on black crime is wack and it gots to stop, its a damn shame that when we get together in certain gatherings we cant get along. Somethin always pop off, i mean it never fails. So please people listen to the lyrics and try to get somethin out of it, try to make it a New Year's Resolution or something like that.
Word up!
Video of the Day: Wu-Syndicates- Where Was Heaven
What up peoples, Happy New Year to all!! Its now 2009 and my site will be now entering a full calendar year, so that means a whole lot of work on my part to keep u all entertained and maintain my #1 spot!! So right now im just gearing up and thinkin some things out on what im goin to do, but please expect more tapes on the way! When? Well when i know, u will know!!
But for now lets take it back to 1998, this track to me was one of the most underrated tracks of that year, this group was real and what else do u expect from a sub-division of the WU? When i 1st seen this vid i was mind-blown, the track was hard but images was real! And me livin in TX couldnt relate to what he was talkin about and livin that NY street life, until i went to NY myself and saw 1st hand on what he was talkin about. So please check this out and remember how real hip-hop used to be!!
