DJ Axsion- Tape #2
Another DJ that i never heard of, i know Tapemasta can fill yall in on this person more than i can. But this is a very ill tape from late '94/ early '95. Its mostly hip-hop sprinkled with a little reggae. So it covers all boards. This tape is very dope in my opinion, so i know yall will like it. Succumb yourself in pure classic hiphop yall, Holla! No tracklisting, sorry.

Bigg Premiere- XXL Vol.1
Never heard of this DJ before until i seen this tape. Now this tape isnt really nothin special with mixes or cuttin or anything, but sometimes thats a good thing. All he does is brings u the music. And on this joint it features slammin R&B joints from 1998. Im tellin yall, if u were a credible artist that came out in '98 u would probably would go gold easily! Everybody was sellin records in '98, Jay 5x plat, DMX had 2 #1 albums, Mase went 4x plat, Big Pun went 2x plat, Lauryn hill won like 5-6 grammys and it goes on and on. Thats why i say '98 was the last year of the golden era. Hip-Hop hit a explosion in '98, it was crazy. It will never be like that again. never.Chubby Chubb- Goin All Out '98
Chubby Chubb returns with a dope tape for 1998. This tape is jam packed with tons of '98 hits!! Please believe me when i say that. U will not be dissapointed with this tape! Trust me!! DJ Craig G, DJ Precise & DJ P-Nice- Hot Like Fire R&B
Craig-G makes a return on this blog with his fellow DJ's on this 1999 tape. This tape came out my senior year in HS, so all of these songs brings back memories. I never thought R&B would be where its at right now man, i just would of never thought. But this tape is bangin all around. Oh yea, some of yall might think Kobe Bryant is a clown for trying to rap with Tyra Banks back in 2000. But the check the verse he drops on that Brian Mcknight joint! Pretty hot! Dont sleep my nigga Kobe!DJ Doggtime- Power 6
More Doggtime for the year 1999. Real nice mix right here! Action packed full of jamz. Hope yall enjoy! Holla!http://rapidshare.com/files/223116900/DJD-P6.rar

Lazy K once more for the year 2000! She hittin yall in da head this time on the R&B tip! This is a real dope tape. She just brings yall the music on this one, no crazy mixing or nothing like that. Which sometimes that is what i prefer, but thats just me! This tape brings back memories of when i used to stay in NJ, and hearing Hot 97 blast these joints all day. Great memories! DJ Juice- #49
JU-Ice giving yall some R&B blends for the year 2000! Now as u look at some of these songs that were out at that time, R&B was hot at that time. To me, 2000 was the last year R&B was still R&B. Even tho it was goin through that transition to where its now where it is garbage, Carl Thomas had the jam of all jams "I Wish". So when i listen to this tape it just makes me wonder where did R&B go wrong? I miss those classic R&B beats by DeVante, Timbaland & P.Diddy's Hitmen. Those were those days........Tuesday, April 14, 2009

Diplomats Vol.3
Diplomats Vol.2

Like i said before people, just because i dont like them doesnt mean other people dont. I do this for the masses. Now when this came out in '02, Cam & Dipset mania was in full swing. Everybody was checkin for them. I was living in VA at the time so i remember how it was at that time. Cam's album was playin everybodys ride and it was crazy. Now the highlight on this track was "Im Ready", once again im a man to admit that when this song dropped it was pure crazy. The beat was bananas and whole concept at that time was dope. Me and my friends was jammin that track repeatedly for a hot minute. Plus this was right around the time Nas went on Power 105 and called out some people. I wish he didnt call out Nore like that, but everyone else was fair game. In retrospect when u look at it, what is those people doin now in their career? So actually Nas was right on with the people he called out! But thats another story for another time. I hope yall like this one, holla.Friday, April 10, 2009
Diplomats Vol.1

Now dont front and act like u didnt have this tape when it came out. In late '01/ early '02 when this was released Cam & the Dips was the hottest thing out. They just signed to the ROC and his album was highly anticiapted. Plus "Oh Boy" was blowin up all over the mixtape circuit. I just remember me and my boys jammin this tape all the time around that point. Now u couldnt get me to listen to the Diplomats or Cam. But hey im man enough to remember that there was a point in time where we was actually checkin for them. Cant front.Cutmaster C- Jada's Comin

Being that Jada's new album just dropped its appropraite that i drop this on yall. Cutmaster released this one right around the time Jada's 2nd album was comin out back in '04. This joint features all the best joints Jada has done. I was jammin this one for a couple weeks straight. Jada is one of those emcee's who style is just unmatched by many. Biggie was huge a fan of Jada, imagine a great MC like BIG backing u up and supoorting u like that. I mean u only gonna get better. I remember back in '01 when Jada was comin out with his 1st LP, i was livin in VA at the time. And i remember that LP being the most anticipated & bootlegged album i ever seen up to that point. It was crazy! Jada is just one of the great emcce's who will stand the test of time!
DJ Capone- The Lox: 10th Anniversary Mixtape

Boy do the years go by fast. The Lox has been in this game for 10 years plus. 10 years plus people!! There are MC's that been in the game who wish their career woulda lasted at least 2 years! The Lox had the best on the job training u can possibly have by Biggie teaching them the game. To me that was very important for them to have. The group as a whole has countless classics out there, also some of the individual members has classics joints as well. The Lox to me is one greatest rap groups of all-time. Where do they rank? Cant really tell u, ill let yall decide that. But this tape is one of the best Lox tapes that u will ever hear. Does it top that tape that DJ Self came out with in the late 90's? Once again ill let yall decide that. But i will tell u that this tape will stay in ur decks for a hot minute! Trust me on that!! Enjoy and thank me later!
DJ 4our 5- The Best Of 2PAC

Now i 1st heard of this DJ back in 2000. He is known for his best of series of tapes. I had the Biggie & Jay ones he did, but i gave those away years ago. Also i think this DJ was once Biggie's DJ if my memory serves me correct. This tape i copped back in 2003. The tracklisting on here is very ill. And most people be forgetting that Pac did a song with Bone Thugs. That song is straight hard. I always had a love/hate relationship with Pac. I loved the fact that he was a dope rapper and believed in himself, i hate the fact that he hated against the east coast after Suge brainwashed him. Pac saw the light and was gettin ready to leave him, but it was too late. He will always be remembered.Thursday, April 9, 2009
Cutmaster C- I Declare War

This tape came out right after Jay & Nas ended there beef. Remember, that I Declare War was the theme of that Jay concert when he was set to go off on his enemies. But the two surprised everyone by being on the same stage together. Me personally I wished that this woulda happened a long time ago. But on this joint u will be gettin the best of both worlds with some dope Hov & Esco joints. This is a tape i think yall would love very much.DJ KaySlay- The Drama King
Big Mike- Cruel Summer 2K4
Well here is the last Big Mike tape that u will ever see on this blog. This one is from 2004. Like i told yall before i started posting these '03-'04 tapes, its not to me its up to yall, yall are the ones who requested it so i just provide! Thats my job. Hope yall enjoyed them.http://rapidshare.com/files/219444606/BM-_CS2k4.rar

Tapemasters Inc.- Brooklyn Queens Expressway

Now this tape is another one that i think is underrated that came out in 2004. This one was a banger at that time. But there are 3 cuts on this tape thats above the rest! Track #2 is a Nas, Az & Nature joint produced by Dr. Dre that i think was supposed to be on the Firm LP. When u listen to this song u will have to ask urself how in the world did this song get left off? Track #4 is a LL joint produced by Dame Grease, to me this is one of LL's best songs he done since the GOAT LP! Its that hard!! And the capper is track #30, Memphis Bleek track done by 9th Wonder! This was the 2nd 9th Wonder joint i heard after "Threats". My mind was purely blown away after i heard this!! I became a huge 9th fan after i heard this song. That dude is as a talented producer as they come!

DJ Premier- God vs. Tha Devil

Here's a rarity, a Primo assembled tape! This is from 2006, and yall know if Primo's name is on it, it is official. Now remember the year is 2006, and mixtapes at this point is pretty much dead. But this is Premier, so i had to post it. A whole lot of ill joints on here plus some joints that he did, so i hope yall like it. Holla!DJ KaySlay & Big Mike- Go Hard Or Go Home

Saturday, April 4, 2009
DJ KaySlay- The Drama Hour Pt.6
DJ Envy- The People's Choice Pt.2
Envy back again for 2003 with another dope tape. This one features many bangin cuts, but the one that does it for me is #3 Foxy Brown- Open Book! This track is one of the best songs she ever recorded. The beat is bananas, its hard for me to put it in words how hard that beat is. But ill let yall be the judge on that. Holla!Thursday, April 2, 2009
