Lately I been really into one of our heroes down here in Texas. He pretty much gave us a signature sound & lifestyle at the same time. What he did was give us a preview of whats goin on music wise on west coast & the east coast on his tapes. Plus he gave many talented rhymers out here a chance to be put on and let their talents be shown. This man was all about the music and puttin his people on and givin them shine while he played the back ground. Alot people that went on to have great & nice careers in the rap game have this man to think for it. In hip-hop their were many clique's that was dope but never got their proper shine like for example Children Of The Corn. Down here in TX the legendary group called Screwed Up Clique was large compilation of rappers put together by DJ Screw as the common thread. This group represented Houston to the fullest and there havent been nothin like it since. In their heyday from '92 til Screw's untimely death in '00, S.U.C put Houston rap on a national scale. So i wanna give my man some proper light and show yall some of his best work in these volumes. I hope u enjoy them and even if u never heard of him just DL this and u decide for urself what u think!
