But thats cool tho, his place in hip-hop history is set. People that really know hip-hop do know what he's done and classics he contributed to. I am a huge DJ Juice fan cause his blends was on point. Like i said before when it comes to blends if Ron G, Doggtime or Juice didnt do it then I cant fuk wit it. Lately I been really into one of our heroes down here in Texas. He pretty much gave us a signature sound & lifestyle at the same time. What he did was give us a preview of whats goin on music wise on west coast & the east coast on his tapes. Plus he gave many talented rhymers out here a chance to be put on and let their talents be shown. This man was all about the music and puttin his people on and givin them shine while he played the back ground. Alot people that went on to have great & nice careers in the rap game have this man to think for it. In hip-hop their were many clique's that was dope but never got their proper shine like for example Children Of The Corn. Down here in TX the legendary group called Screwed Up Clique was large compilation of rappers put together by DJ Screw as the common thread. This group represented Houston to the fullest and there havent been nothin like it since. In their heyday from '92 til Screw's untimely death in '00, S.U.C put Houston rap on a national scale. So i wanna give my man some proper light and show yall some of his best work in these volumes. I hope u enjoy them and even if u never heard of him just DL this and u decide for urself what u think! This project been in the works for quite some time. I just wanted to shed some light on one of the most dopest lyricists that was in the game! And the sad thing is that the new generation of hip-hop dont even know who he is or ever even heard of him. KaySlay gave him some shine on a Best Of back in the early 2000's. I saw the tracklisting on that tape and i thought i can make even a better one! Im not here saying im better than Slay or anything like that but i felt confident i can give this man the light he deserves! To me this was the one & only man that lyrically can go bar for bar with Hov that was on his team. Bleek was kool and Beans was nice but Sauce had those ill punchline bars that was just impeccable! As u can see im steppin up in doin my own covers now and im tryin to stay one step ahead of the others. I really do hope yall enjoy this, there are some tracks on here that i think none of yall heard before, some real rarities one this one!! Now there is some minor skipping on about 3-4 tracks but hey this was done live and i am human, cut me some slack. I feel real good about this mixtape and i hope yall love it too! Yo Bully, i think u gonna love this my dude!
