DJ IROC- Halftime 560 Tape (1996)

What a rare tape this is brought to u by veteran mixtape star DJ IROC!! Most of my true hip-hop heads know that Fat Joe had a clothing line in the mid 90s called Halftime 560 and he even had his own store by that name. Heck even for a short time he had Biz Markie working for him in the store (take it how u want)! But what a better way to promote ur store & ur brand by puttin out a mixtape? Pretty dope right? I know for a fact not too many people own this tape, its beyond rare. And it features freestyles on here that i never heard before by certain artists!! Its a classic for sure and i hope u enjoy this one!! Fat Joe even does some hosting on here too..

B-Lord- Dirty South (1998)

Now its time to get crunk & bout it bout it on this one!! As this DJ takes u on a trip OT Down South!! I dont know if this DJ is from the south or from NYC, but he takes yall to Memphis, Houston, Atlanta & New Orleans playin the hottest joints from each city. Me being from outside of Houston, the tracks on this tape bring back memories cause that what was being played down here all the time! I live vintage down south tracks cause it had a distinctive sound that many of today try to recreate like Big Krit, Drake & ASAP Rocky. Lovely tape right here fo sho!!

B-Lord

DJ Enuff- Dont Sleep (1995)

Now this here is a classic tape. Enuff had the inside track to getting Biggie joints before they dropped! That is something no mixtape DJ can say so thats a huge advantage on his part! And the intro on this tape is a major rare treat that i cant ruin for u right now. Gotta jam it to see what im saying!!

Enuff

Whoo Kid- Hydro '98 (1998)

Whoooooo Kidddddddd is back wit another fly tape! Now this one could confuse some people cause he did do another Hydro tape but that was in 2001. So remember he did 2 of them, this one and the one in 2001. Hopefully i cleared that up!

Whoo Kid

J Styles- Killin Em (1995)

This vet here has made many dope tapes in the 90s making his name known within the mixtape circles. And on this tape he was killin em for sure wit many dope jams! He offers a rare treat on here as well, as many of u know Ski did all the production on Camp Lo's 1st LP & most of the production on Jay Z's 1st LP. Now we all know the Jay Z track "Feelin It" right? Classic record right? But did u know it wasnt really his record originally? He didnt get the beat first, Camp Lo did...and on this tape u get to hear their verson even tho the song didnt come out a full year later! I bet u didnt know Jay tried to steal away the Luchini beat as well!! But Ski wouldnt let him have it!

J Styles

Chill Will- Masterpiece #7 (1994)

These Masterpiece's are Chill Will's notable tapes that people knew him by. Very classic tape series right here.

Chill Will

Dirty Harry- Rapid Fire Pt. 1 (1999)

Now this DJ right here to me created musical landscapes on his tapes. He is one of the best when it comes to blends, his blends are just different. He was great at taking vocals to recreate certain tracks, and they all fit perfectly. Just like a musical composer composing big music pieces, thats kinda similar to what Dirty Harry did. It dont hurt that he's also Nas' cousin, so i know he sittin on a couple of gems from him as well!!

Dirty Harry

Envy- Sopranos Style (2000)

A great tape title from a all-time great TV show!! Nice hard jams on this one!! Very lovely!!

Envy

Chill Will- R&B Remixes (1997)

Chill Will from the Eastside makes a appearance on my spot! But trust me it wont b the last! This veteran DJ is for sure a mixtape star/ legend. He made his name for doin blends but he just fraked them different than other DJs did. He just made them fruity.....as he would say. He also did alot of production as well in the 90's. But his mixtape concepts was very fresh and he his tapes always kept u locked and very engaged! He was very in tuned to his audience and he catered to them. So along with the other big mixtape DJs names, this guy's name should b right up there!

Chill Will

DJ Hollywood- Thats Dat Shit (1995)

Another fly tape from this vet. Nothing but dope jamz and kool blends. You all will like this one!!
